CHOOSING
THE CORRECT SIZE WATCH BAND / WATCH STRAP
Often,
the most awkward part of purchasing a watch strap is
to determine the size strap you require.
To find the size of watch strap you need, measure
between the lugs of the watch in mm.
You can use a straight rule and
measure in millimeters or inches. However, please refer to the
"millimeter number" when placing your order.
To determine a proper fit, add the size of your
watch, then subtract the distance from the end of
the strap to the desired hole.
Formula: (Length of Leather Strap + Size of Watch) –
Distance to Middle Hole = Perfect Wrist Size
Example: (7.5 inch strap + 1.75 inch watch) — (1.75
inches to reach middle hole) = 7.5 available length.
A perfect fit for a seven and a half inch wrist!
If your wrist is a little larger or a little
smaller, you can compensate for about 0.3 - 0.6
inches by moving one or two holes in either
direction from center. Obviously, if your watch size
is larger or smaller than our example of 1.75
inches, you will need to use its actual size in the
formula, above. Contact us if you need help.
